Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have five male and four female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Jaylen Brown, Norwalk Basketball. Brown scored 27 points twice for the Bears in a pair of wins.

Tate Mahoney, Fairfield Ludlowe Basketball. Mahoney scored 25 points in a win over Bridgeport Central.

Nick Oliveri, Wilton Hockey. Oliveri scored four of the Warriors’ six goals in a win over Staples.

Luke Pereira, Ridgefield Hockey. Pereira scored three times in a 5-2 win over St. Joseph.

Dommy Spadaro, Fairfield Warde Wrestling. Spadaro, a junior, recorded his 100th career win with a pin in a match against Ridgefield.


Here are the female finalists:

Kate Cimador, Fairfield Ludlowe Basketball. Cimador finished with 39 points in a pair of wins.

Megan Geiger, Greenwich Basketball. Geiger banked in a 3-point shot at the buzzer as the Cardinals overcame an 18-point second-half deficit to defeat Fairfield Warde.

Erin Lovett, St. Joseph Basketball. Lovett finished with 33 points, 21 rebounds, 8 assists, 5 steals and 9 blocks in a pair of wins.

Sam Mettler, New Canaan Hockey. Mettler finished with three goals and two assists in an 8-0 win over Greenwich.
