Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have seven male and six female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will receive our Player of the Week T-shirts.

Here are the male finalists:

Greg Altamore, Greenwich Basketball. Altimore scored 15 of his 19 points in the second half of a win over Norwalk.

Kabir Chavan, Fairfield Ludlowe Track. Chavan won the 1,600 and 3,200 meter titles at the Eastern Division Championships.

Paul Fabbri, St. Joseph Basketball. Fabbri scored 23 points, including the game-winning layup at the buzzer in overtime against Stamford.

Malcolm Going, Danbury Track. Going won the 1,000, 1,600 and was part of the winning 4×400 relay at the Western Division Championships.

Jeffrey Reda, Trinity Catholic Hockey. Reda stopped 56 of 58 shots in a 2-1 overtime loss to Staples.

Jack Ryan, Trumbull Wrestling. Ryan got his 100th career win against Fairfield Ludlowe and won the 120-pound title at the CT Challenge.

Ben Smart, Ridgefield Wrestling. Smart won the 126-pound title at the Ridgefield Challenge.



Here are the female finalists:

Shelby Dejana, Wilton Track. Dejana won the 45-meter dash at the Eastern Division Championships.

Lucie Edwards, Darien Hockey. Edwards scored a hat trick in a 6-1 win over Ridgefield-Danbury.

Emiri Fukuchi, Greenwich Hockey. Fukuchi scored a hat trick in a 6-3 win over Fairfield Warde-Ludlowe.

Serenity Mayhew, Norwalk Basketball. Mayhew scored 10 points and had a strong fourth quarter in a comeback win at No. 1 New London.

Peyton McNamara, Brien McMahon Track. McNamara won the 50-meter dash and was part of a winning 4×200 relay at the Western Division Championships.

Caitlyn Scott, Trinity Catholic Basketball. Scott scored 23 points in a win over Fairfield Ludlowe.
