Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have six male and nine female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Mathias Ayala, Trumbull Volleyball. Ayala finished with 23 assists and eight digs in a four-set win over Staples.

Chase DePalma, Norwalk Baseball. DePalma threw a complete-game one-hitter to defeat Danbury.

Carson Dodder, Fairfield Warde. Dodder went 4 for 9 with six RBIs for the week and homered and drove in four runs in a 6-4 win over rival Staples.

Johnny McHugh, Greenwich Baseball. McHugh went 5 for 7 and scored five runs in a pair of wins, getting the save against Darien.

Wesley Perrault, Danbury Volleyball. Perrault finished with 38 kills and 27 service points in three wins.

Kieran Scruggs, Fairfield Ludlowe Baseball. Scruggs went 6 for 10 with 2 RBIs in a 2-1 week for the Falcons.


Here are the female finalists:

Chloe Cui, New Canaan Golf. Cui was the medalist with a par-36 in a 156-239 win over Danbury.

Grace Codd, Trumbull Golf. Codd was the medalist with a 36 in a 157-182 win over Wilton.

Katie Dzialo, St. Joseph Softball. Dzialo went 6 for 8 with two RBIs and was the winning pitcher against Ludlowe, Trumbull and Westhill.

Mia Ferrigno, Staples Softball. Ferrigno went 4 for 4 with a run and RBI in a 10-7 win over Fairfield Warde and finished the week 6 for 10.

Liza Fogelson, Norwalk Lacrosse. Fogelson finished with 15 goals, five assists and eight forced turnovers in a 2-1 week for the Bears.

Noelle Gluck, Darien Tennis. Gluck went undefeated at No. 1 singles, with a big win against Danbury.

Alex Lewey, Fairfield Ludlowe Softball. Lewey pitched a complete-game four-hitter to lead a 2-0 eight-inning win over Ridgefield.

Addie Pattillo, Wilton Lacrosse. Pattillo finished with seven goals, three assists and 14 draw controls in wins over top four teams Darien and Ridgefield.

Ava Smeriglio, Westhill Softball. Smeriglio went 6 for 10 with four doubles, four RBIs, six runs and three walks in three games.
