We have six male and six female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.
The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.
Here are the male finalists:
Christopher Colsey, Ridgefield Lacrosse. Colsey scored four goals in a 10-6 win over Stepinac (NY).
Derek Davis, Fairfield Warde Baseball. Davis went 5 for 5, with two runs and four RBIs, in a win over Darien.
Jaxon Ermo, Norwalk Baseball. Ermo threw a five-hit shutout against Trumbull, with four strikeouts and no walks.
Max Lowe, New Canaan Lacrosse. Lowe finished with five goals and an assist in a 14-1 win over Wilton.
Daniel Matthew, Westhill Volleyball. Matthew finished with 40 kills and 8 blocks in three wins.
Aiden Stewart, Trumbull Baseball. Stewart went 5 for 10 in three games, with two runs, a stolen base and got the final out in a victory against Staples.
Here are the female finalists:
Caroline Hall, Trumbull Softball. Hall went 4 for 4 in a win over Norwalk, with an inside-the-park home run for her 100th career hit, and five RBIs.Â
Mackenzie Hart, New Canaan Softball. Hart, the No. 9 hitter, had two hits, including a double, and three RBIs in a big win over St. Joseph.
Vivian Knott, Darien Softball. Knott in a pair of wins threw 15 innings, allowing just one run, with 20 strikeouts.
Lola Lamensdorf, Staples Tennis. Lamensdorf was part of a No. 1 doubles team that won three matches without dropping a set.
Finley Maloney, Fairfield Ludlowe Lacrosse. Maloney, a freshman attack, finished with seven goals and an assist in a pair of games.
Sadey Strauser, Fairfield Warde Softball. Strauser went 7 for 12 with six RBIs in three games.
