Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have seven male and four female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Hudson Booth, Norwalk Soccer. Booth scored four goals in two wins, including a hat trick in a 7-4 decision over Bridgeport Central.

Andrew Esposito, New Canaan Football. Esposito had two fourth-quarter interceptions to help preserve a 23-10 win over Staples.

Joey Hagerty, Wilton Football. Hagerty completed 20 of 27 passes for 170 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 75 yards in a 20-17 upset of No. 1 Greenwich.

Brayden Jagoe, Trumbull Football. Jagoe had touchdowns running and receiving and an interception during a 28-18 win over Brien McMahon.

Mac Lawton, Brien McMahon Golf. Lawton won the FCIAC Individual Championship, shooting a 75 and winning on the first playoff hole.

Magnus Manley, Ridgefield Cross Country. Manley won the FCIAC individual title in 15:42.

Jake O’Keefe, Danbury Football. O’Keefe threw for 108 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 67 yards and two scores in a 42-0 win over Fairfield Warde.


Here are the female finalists:

Elizabeth Cedano, Stamford Volleyball. A libero, Cedano had 46 digs, 12 aces and 2.1 serves received during a 2-1 week that included an upset of Fairfield Warde.

Emme Dorfman, Staples Soccer. Dorfman had a goal and an assist in a 4-2 win over Westhill.

Riley Keane, Ridgefield Soccer. Keane had five big saves in a 1-1 tie with New Canaan and a shutout in a scoreless tie with Staples.

Sophie Spelman, Fairfield Warde Cross Country. Spelman won the FCIAC individual title in a time of 18:27.
