Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have five male and five female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Charlie Calabrese, Wilton Football. Calabrese had 23 rushes for 207 yards and four touchdowns in a win over Brien McMahon.

Brayden Jagoe, Trumbull Football. Jagoe had 11 tackles, including two for losses, in a defeat against Staples.

Finn Kilmartin, St. Joseph Football. Kilmartin rushed for 124 yards and three scores on 25 carries and added eight tackles and a fumble recovery in a win over Danbury.

Tyler Spellman, Darien Football. Spellman had four catches for 108 yards and a score in a win over Fairfield Warde.

Grant Stupak, Fairfield Ludlowe Football. Stupak finished 25 of 29 for 385 yards and six touchdowns and rushed for 75 yards and another score in a win over Brien McMahon.

Here are the female finalists:

Kayah Armstrong, Greenwich Volleyball. Armstrong had 21 kills in a Class LL semifinal five-set loss to Darien.

Alex Hackett, Staples Field Hockey. Hackett scored a goal and played a strong all-around match in a 5-2 win over Darien for the Class L title.

Emma Kelly, New Canaan Swimming. Kelly completed her second undefeated season by winning the State Open diving competition.

Savannah Leone, Darien Volleyball. Leone was named MVP of the Class LL championship after a 40-assist performance in a five-set win over Glastonbury.

Ava Ward, Ridgefield Swimming. Ward had two individual wins and was part of two winning relays to help lead the Tigers to the State Open title.
