Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have six male and six female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Jay Genova, Ridgefield Basketball. Genova scored 22 points and hit a half court shot at the buzzer to give the Tigers a win over St. Joseph.

Rogan Lowe, New Canaan Hockey. Lowe scored three times in the final 10 minutes of a 4-2 come-from-behind win over Darien.

Matt Maloney, Greenwich Basketball. Maloney scored 22 points in both a loss to St. Joseph and a win over Wilton, with five rebounds, four assists and two steals against the Warriors.

Jordan Sutton, Stamford Basketball. Sutton finished with 20 points, 11 rebounds and 3 blocks in a win over Darien.

Ryan Torello, Ludlowe Basketball. Torello scored 31 points in a win over Danbury and 30 points in a 58-53 win over New Canaan.

TJ Wright, St. Joseph Basketball. Wright scored 30 points and reached the 1,000 mark for his career in a win over Greenwich and finished with 31 in a loss to Ridgefield.


Here are the female finalists:

Rose Bilella, Wilton Basketball. Bilella scored 30 points in a win over Darien.

Kate Cimador, Ludlowe Basketball. Cimador scored a school-record 40 points, along with five assists and five steals, in a win over Danbury and 24 points in a win over New Canaan.

Zuri Faison, Greenwich Basketball. Faison scored 25 points in a 50-45 overtime win over St. Joseph to remain unbeaten.

Annie Johnson, Wilton/Norwalk/McMahon Girls Hockey. Johnson finished with six points in two games, including a hat trick in a win over Masuk Co-Op.

Ana Pepin, Trumbull Gymnastics. Pepin set the school records in the all-around (38.05) and floor exercise (9.8) in a meet against Darien and in the vault (9.75) against Ludlowe and Warde.

Maddie Tully, New Canaan Hockey. Tully scored five of the Rams’ seven goals in three wins by a total of four goals.
