Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have six male and five female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Sam Clachko, Staples Basketball. Clachko scored 25 points in win over Stamford and reached the 1,000 mark with 32 in a win against Darien.

Brendon Harmon, New Canaan Hockey. Harmon had 24 saves in a 3-1 win over Fairfield Prep.

Micah Kelly, Fairfield Ludlowe Wrestling. Kelly went 4-0, with two pins, a technical fall and a major decision, to win the 120-pound title at the New Milford Tournament.

Andres Mendoza, Fairfield Warde Wrestling. Mendoza went 3-0 this week at 120 pounds, with key wins in victories over Danbury and Fairfield Ludlowe.

Ryan Moore, Fairfield Warde Basketball. Moore scored 18 points in a win over New Canaan and 19 in a win over Westhill.

Schafer Repsher, Darien Hockey. Repsher stopped 18 shots in the Blue Wave’s 3-2 win over No. 1 Notre Dame-West Haven.

Here are the female finalists:

Allie Cicia, New Canaan Basketball. Cicia scored 24 points in an upset win in overtime over Fairfield Warde.

Zoe Desmarais, Ridgefield Basketball. Desmarais scored 14 points, including the pivotal basket, and had a strong all-around game in a 43-37 win over No. 4 Stamford.

Gigi Gracia, St. Joseph Basketball. Gracia averaged 29.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and five steals in a pair of wins.

Laura Guster, Staples Gymnastics. Guster won the all around with a score of 37.35 in a win over Wilton.

Hayden McBean, Fairfield Ludlowe Basketball. McBean finished with 23 points, 16 rebounds, 5 blocks, 6 steals and 5 assists in a win over Brien McMahon.
