Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have nine male and seven female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Owen Brum, Fairfield Ludlowe Track. Brum won the 55 hurdles at the FCIAC Championships.

Machai HenryDanbury Track. Henry won the 55 meters and was part of the winning 4×200 relay team at the FCIAC Championships.

Luke KiefferFairfield Warde Track. Kieffer won the shotput at the FCIAC Championships.

Charles Lovett, Ridgefield Track. Lovett won the 1,000 and was part of the winning 4×800 relay team at the FCIAC Championships.

Ryan Luchetta, Wilton Basketball. Luchetta scored 32 points in a win over St. Joseph and 24 points in a win over Westhill.

Bryce Lyden, New Canaan Hockey. Lyden scored three goals in a 6-1 win over Ridgefield.

Ryan Newcomb, Greenwich Track. Newcomb won the 600 at the FCIAC Championships.

Cam Rice, Brien McMahon Basketball. Rice finished with 25 points in a win over St. Joseph and threw the long inbounds pass with two seconds left that led to the decisive layup in a win over Bridgeport Central.

Mason Sweeney, Trumbull Track. Sweeney won the high jump at the FCIAC Championships.


Here are the female finalists:

Aaliyah Cook, Danbury Track. Cook won the 55 and 55 hurdles at the FCIAC Championships.

Caroline Craco, Fairfield Co-Op Hockey. Craco finished with one goal and three assists in an 8-2 win over Ridgefield.

Lila Fiorita, Darien Hockey. Fiorita had a big week in wins over Greenwich Academy and New Canaan.

Laura Guster, Staples Gymnastics. Guster won the all-around title at the FCIAC Championships.

Charlotte Moor, New Canaan Track. Moor won the 1,000 and was part of the winning 4×800 relay team at the FCIAC Championships.

Melinda Pettit, Wilton Track. Pettit won the pole vault at the FCIAC Championships.

Samantha Russo, Trumbull Track. Russo won the 600 at the FCIAC Championships.
