Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have 10 male and five female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Kieran Boyle, Ridgefield Track. Boyle won the 55 meters title at the Class LL Championships.

Nate Elsner, Westhill Track. Elsner won the pole vault title at the Class LL Championships.

Ibrahim KadriTrumbull Wrestling. Kadri was named the outstanding wrestler in the lower weights at the FCIAC Championships.

Matt Maloney, Greenwich Basketball. Maloney scored 26 points in a win over Westhill.

Rashidi Newton, Bridgeport Central Track. Newton won the high jump title at the Class LL Championships.

Cristian PoteDanbury Wrestling. Pote won his third straight FCIAC title, at 132 pounds.

Charles Roy, Wilton Basketball. Roy scored 28 points in an overtime win over Brien McMahon.

Dominick Spadaro, Fairfield Warde Wrestling. Spadaro was named the outstanding wrestler in the upper weights at the FCIAC Championships.

Ryan Torello, Fairfield Ludlowe Basketball. Torello scored 30 points in a win over Darien and 21 in a win over Wilton.

James Troy, Darien Hockey. Troy had three goals and an assist in a 4-2 win over Greenwich.


Here are the female finalists:

Manar Abis, Staples Track. Abis won the pole vault title at the Class LL Championships.

Macyn Callahan, New Canaan Hockey. Callahan stopped 26 shots in a 4-2 win over East Catholic.

Kate Cimador, Fairfield Ludlowe Basketball. Cimador scored 29 points in each of a pair of wins and hit 1,000 for her career.

Ryanne Gulbin, Fairfield Warde Basketball. Gulbin had 29 points, 16 rebounds, 6 steals and 4 assists in a win over Stamford and 21 points, 18 rebounds, 6 steals and 5 assists in a win over Brien McMahon.

Gabriella Rivera, Norwalk Track. Rivera won the 55 hurdles title at the Class LL Championships.
