Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have five male and six female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players of the Week.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Mikey BresciaGreenwich Lacrosse. Brescia scored eight goals and added an assist in a win over Fairfield Warde.

Dean Chamberlin, Trumbull Volleyball. Chamberlin finished with 27 kills and 23 digs in a pair of wins.

Jimmy Dobbs, Fairfield Warde Baseball. Dobbs homered in all three wins, going 6 for 11, with seven RBIs and five runs.

Henry Jeffers, Darien Lacrosse. Jeffers finished with five goals in a 16-2 win over Greenwich.

Hunter PallaiStaples Lacrosse. Pallai finished with 11 goals and six assists in three wins.


Here are the female finalists:

Mia Ferrigno, Staples Softball. Ferrigno went 6 for 11 leading off, with five runs and 2 RBIs, in three games.

Hope Hapgood, Darien Lacrosse. Hapgood scored six goals in a 14-9 win over Manhasset.

Lily McClay, Fairfield Ludlowe Lacrosse. McClay finished with 10 draw controls, 2 assists, 2 goals, 3 ground balls and a forced turnover in a pair of wins.

Sophia Rodriguez, St. Joseph Softball. Rodriguez went 6-13, with 5 runs scored during the team’s 3-1 week.

Sadey Strauser, Fairfield Warde Softball. Strauser went 5 for 7, with six RBIs and five runs in three games.

T’Aira Walters, Danbury Softball. Walters had three hits, including a pair of home runs, in a 10-6 win over Trumbull.
