Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have five male and five female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players of the Week.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

CJ Berlingo, Stamford Baseball. Berlingo hit two homers and drove in three runs in a 7-3 win over Greenwich.

Ben BickertonBrien McMahon Baseball. Bickerton went 2 for 3 and hit a tiebreaking two-run homer in the 6th inning to hand Norwalk its first loss, 4-2.

Dylan Penn, Ridgefield Lacrosse. Penn stopped nine shots in the Tigers’ first win over Darien since 2018, 9-6.

Matt Reed, New Canaan Lacrosse. Reed finished with three goals and three assists in a 12-8 win over Fairfield Prep.

Hiro Sibble, Greenwich Volleyball. Sibble finished with 67 digs, 38 kills, 3 blocks and 7 aces in a pair of matches.


Here are the female finalists:

Emma Hamilton, Darien Softball. Hamilton delivered her second game-winning hit in extra innings of a scoreless game in two weeks for a 1-0, 10-inning win over Fairfield Warde.

Finley Maloney, Fairfield Ludlowe Lacrosse. Maloney finished with 6 goals, 2 assists and 1 caused turnover in a 14-9 win over town rival Fairfield Warde.

Caitlyn McGratty, Ridgefield Softball: McGratty, a freshman pitcher, went 2-0 with 14 strikeouts and reached 100 for the season.

Allison Rayment, Wilton Track. Rayment won the 100, 200, 400 and triple jump to spark the Warriors to a 75.5-70.5 win over New Canaan.

Aubrey Roth, Greenwich Lacrosse. Roth scored seven goals and added an assist in a 15-13 win over Hendrick Hudson.
