We have seven male and five female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players of the Week.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Jack Bucci, Ridgefield Football. Bucci finished with 14 tackles and three sacks in a 14-10 win over Platt.

James DellaVolpe, Fairfield Warde Football. DellaVolpe completed nine of 14 passes for 170 yards and four scores and rushed for 42 yards and a touchdown in a 42-20 win over Simsbury.

Anajae Kearney, Bridgeport Central Football. Kearney threw for 147 yards and two scores and ran for 63 yards and another in a 21-8 win over Wilbur Cross to end the team’s 61-game losing streak.

Ryan Love, Fairfield Ludlowe Football. Love threw for 398 yards and four scores in a 38-35 win over Notre Dame-West Haven.

Luke McDermott, Trumbull Football. McDermott finished with three interceptions in a 12-3 win over NFA.

Ryan Monohan, New Canaan Cross Country. Monohan broke the school record and had the fastest time in the state (12:34) in a quad-met win.

Easton Pace, Norwalk Football. Pace threw for 205 yards and three scores and ran for 180 and another three scores in a 41-21 win over East Hartford.


Here are the female finalists:

Valeri Cordozo, Westhill Soccer. Cordozo had five goals and an assist in two games, including four in a 6-0 win over Bunnell.

Finley Haven, Fairfield Ludlowe Volleyball. Haven finished with 23 kills, 17 digs and 8 aces in a pair of wins.

Grace Kimball, Brien McMahon Field Hockey. Kimball scored all three goals in a 3-0 win over Haddam-Killingworth.

Ava Pattinson, Staples Field Hockey. Pattinson, a freshman, scored five goals in a pair of wins.

Victoria Sullivan, Greenwich Volleyball. Sullivan finished with 60 assists, 17 digs and 5 kills in a four-set win over Joel Barlow.
