Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have seven male and seven female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will receive our Player of the Week T-shirts.

Here are the male finalists:

Andy Demopoulos, Darien Lacrosse. Demopoulos made 11 saves in a 14-6 win over Ridgefield, a rematch of last year’s state final.

Tom Stasko, Fairfield Ludlowe Baseball. Stasko had eighth-inning game-winning walkoff hits in 6-5 victories over Joel Barlow and North Haven.

John Peiser, New Canaan Volleyball. Peiser finished with 15 kills, four blocks and two service points in a five-set win over Fairfield Warde.

Blake Epstein, Fairfield Warde Lacrosse. Epstein had 12 goals and eight assists in three wins, and scored his 100th career point.

Julian Kammerman, Trumbull Lacrosse. Kammerman scored four goals in a 12-11 overtime win over St. Joseph.

Bobby Arent, Ridgefield Baseball. Arent had two hits, including a walkoff double for a 5-4 win over Amity.

John Walsh, Wilton Baseball. Walsh went 4-for-4 with two doubles, two RBIs, two runs scored and a stolen base in a 9-7 win over Joel Barlow.

 

Here are the female finalists:

Sarah Jacques, Darien Lacrosse. Jacques scored eight goals on eight shots and added two assists in a 19-4 win over Garden City.

Kaleigh Harden, New Canaan Lacrosse. Harden scored four goals in a 12-2 win over Yorktown.

Izzy Koziol, Wilton Tennis. Koziol finished with three wins at No. 1 singles to pace a perfect week for the Warriors.

Diana Magarian, Stamford Softball. Magarian went 8 for 10 in two wins, with four runs and seven RBIs, and had the game-winning hit in an extra-inning game against Danbury.

Paloma Meehan, Fairfield Ludlowe Lacrosse. Meehan finished with four goals and one assist in a 17-3 win over Brien McMahon.

Lilia Ivanovich, St. Joseph Lacrosse. Ivanovich had five goals and three assists in a 14-4 win over Norwalk.

Tasha Riek, Ridgefield Track. Riek won the 400 meters and was part of two winning relay teams in a victory over Fairfield Ludlowe.
