We have six male and six female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players of the Week.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Carlos Chacha, Danbury Football. Chacha had eight tackles, three for losses, one sack and two forced fumbles in a 31-6 win over Norwalk.

Spencer Girling, Staples Soccer. Girling led a strong defensive effort and was named MVP of the FCIAC championship after the Wreckers’ 3-2 win over Greenwich.

Jack Kelly, Greenwich Football. Kelly scored three fourth-quarter touchdowns on 19, 79 and 41 yard runs as the Cardinals broke a 14-14 tie with 27 points for a 41-14 win.

Max Reciuga, Brien McMahon Soccer. Reciuga scored the lone goal in the Senators’ 1-0 state playoff win over Stamford.

Henry Stein, New Canaan Football. Stein rushed for 131 yards on just six carries and two scores and an 18-yard TD reception in a 42-7 win over Stamford.

Will Zaccagnino, St. Joseph Football. Zaccagnino led a dominant effort on both lines in the Cadets’ 27-6 win over Staples.

Here are the female finalists:

Tess Hageney, Darien Field Hockey. Hageney came off the bench to stop five shots in a shootout and then a penalty stroke to earn MVP honors in the Blue Wave’s win over Darien for the FCIAC title.

Zsofia Milak, Ridgefield Swimming. Milak, a freshman, finished first in the 200 freestyle and second in the 500 freestyle at the FCIAC championships.

Cailyn O’Hara, St. Joseph Soccer. O’Hara stopped a shot in penalty kicks and had some late big saves in regulation to earn MVP honors in a win over Greenwich for the FCIAC championship.

Adrianna Spellman, Fairfield Warde Swimming. Spellman was named Swimmer of the Meet after winning the 100-yard backstroke and gaining All-American consideration and finishing second in the 50 freestyle.

Alexa Van Aken, Staples Soccer. Van Aken had a goal and an assist in a 2-0 first round state playoff win over Danbury.

Wesley Wales, Greenwich Swimming. Wales won then 50 and 100 freestyles to help lead the Cardinals to the FCIAC title.
