We have 10 finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week. We are holding just one vote this week because of the continued lack of nominations by female coaches this winter. I regret this.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the finalists:

John Carrozza, Ridgefield Wrestling. Carrozza won the 144-pound title at the Class LL championships.

Jack Crowell, New Canaan Hockey. Crowell, a defenseman, finished with two goals and two assists in three wins.

Joe Fitzpatrick, Fairfield Warde Basketball. Fitzpatrick scored 21 points in a two-point win over Brien McMahon.

Midgerson Gelin, Stamford Wrestling. Gelin won the 150-pound title at the Class LL championships.

Harrison Muller, Danbury Wrestling. Muller won the 175-pound title at the Class LL championships.

Gabriella Rivera, Brien McMahon Track. Rivera won the 55 hurdles in 8.06 at the State Open.

Julian Rousseau, Staples Wrestling. Rousseau won the 215-pound title at the Class LL championships.

Andrew Sharron, Darien Track. Sharron won the 1,600 at the State Open in 4:20.87.

Lorenzo Stabilini, Fairfield Ludlowe Basketball. Stabilini made 7 3-point shots and scored 29 points in a win over Wilton.

Sean Wilson, Trumbull Basketball. Wilson averaged 27 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists in a pair of wins.
