We have five male and three female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players of the Week.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Ben Bilodeau, Darien Lacrosse. Bilodeau finished with three goals and three assists in a 14-10 Class LL quarterfinal win over Ridgefield.

Tyler Geriak, Fairfield Ludlowe Baseball. Geriak threw a complete-game seven-hit shutout in a 1-0, 8-inning win over Southington in the Class LL quarterfinals.

HT Jones, St. Joseph Baseball. Jones threw a complete-game six-hitter, with nine strikeouts, in a 4-1 Class M quarterfinal win over Ellington.

Ryan Monohan, New Canaan Track. Monohan won the 800 meter title at the State Open. 

Eric Skolnick, Staples Lacrosse. Skolnick dominated on draw controls in the Wreckers’ 10-6 Class LL quarterfinal win over Wilton.

Here are the female finalists:

Maya Aquino, New Canaan Softball. Aquino went 3 for 3 and drove in five runs in a 9-1 Class LL quarterfinal win over Fairfield Warde. 

Rose Bilella, Wilton Lacrosse. Bilella finished with five goals and 11 draw controls in a Class LL quarterfinal win over Ridgefield.

Vivian Knott, Darien Softball. Knott pitched a two-hitter in a 1-0 Class LL quarterfinal win over Trumbull.
