Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have seven male and seven female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will receive our Player of the Week T-shirts.

Here are the male finalists:

Ryan Colsey, Ridgefield Lacrosse. Colsey finished with two goals, including the game-winner, and two assists in a 5-4 win over Staples.

Jack Feda, Greenwich Lacrosse. Feda scored 16 goals in three games.

Gunnar Granito, New Canaan Golf. Granito shot a two-under-par 34 in a win over Ridgefield.

Tyler Higgins, St. Joseph Volleyball. Higgins finished with 44 assists, two aces and two kills in a 3-2 win over Westhill.

Timmy Luciano, Staples Lacrosse. Luciano finished with 25 saves and scored a goal as Staples split two games.

Michael Minicus, Darien Lacrosse. Minicus finished with four goals and an assist in an 11-9 loss to St. Anthony’s in the Geico Showcase.

James O’Brien, Trumbull Lacrosse. O’Brien finished with four goals and two assists in an 11-5 win over Pomperaug.

 

Here are the female finalists:

Jane Charlton, New Canaan Lacrosse. Charlton finished with 11 goals and four assists in three games and scored the game-winner against Ridgefield with one second remaining.

Payton Doiron, St. Joseph Softball. Doiron allowed just four runs in four wins.

Grace Fahey, Greenwich Lacrosse. Fahey scored five goals, including the 100th of her career, and added four assists and three draw controls in a 16-6 win over Trumbull.

Kyle Kirby, Staples Lacrosse. Kirby finished with eight goals, five assists and 14 draw controls in two wins.

Julia Minchini, Fairfield Warde Softball. Minchini went eight for 10, with two home runs and seven RBIs in three games.

Naeva Rene, Norwalk Track. Naeva Rene won the 100, 200 and high jump at a meet against New Canaan and St. Joseph.

Caitlin Slaminko, Ridgefield Lacrosse. Slaminko finished with nine goals in a loss to Staples and win over Fairfield Ludlowe.
