Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have seven male and five female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will receive our Player of the Week T-shirts.

Here are the male finalists:

Adam Biernat, Ridgefield Football. Biernat kicked a 37-yard field goal as time expired to give Ridgefield a 17-14 win over New Canaan.

Evan Birns, Staples Soccer. Birns’ first-half goal gave the Wreckers a 1-0 win over Norwalk.

Joaquín Brasher, Bridgeport Central Soccer. Brasher had shutouts in goal against St. Joseph and Ridgefield and did not allow a goal in a half against Westhill.

Will Diamantis, St. Joseph Football. Diamantis had three touchdown receptions and threw a scoring pass, all in the first half, to give the Cadets a 42-7 win over Notre Dame-West Haven.

Tiago Frazao, Trumbull Soccer. Frazao scored the deciding goal in a 1-0 win over Ridgefield.

Joao Lima, Greenwich Soccer. Lima, a midfielder, finished with three goals and two assists in a pair of wins.

Allesandro Malagoli, New Canaan Cross Country. Malagoli took first place in a meet against Ridgefield, Norwalk and Brien McMahon.

 

Here are the female finalists:

Bailey Cenatiempo, Trumbull Volleyball. Cenatiempo finished with 47 kills and 39 digs as the Tigers defeated Darien and Ridgefield and lost to Fairfield Ludlowe.

Charlotte Domittner, Darien Field Hockey. Domittner, a center back, led the Blue Wave defense in a 3-1 win against rival Staples.

Charlotte Kemp, Ridgefield Soccer. Kemp, a freshman center back, led the Tigers’ defense in shutout wins over Stamford, Trumbull and Bridgeport Central.

Emma O’Neil, Fairfield Ludlowe Field Hockey. O’Neil, a freshman, scored two goals in a 4-0 win over Westhill.

Alejandra Roldan-Vasco, Norwalk/McMahon Swimming. Roldan-Vasco won the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke and was part of a winning 200 medley relay team in a meet against Fairfield Warde.
