We have six male and six female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.
The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will receive our Player of the Week T-shirts.
Here are the male finalists:
Griffin Deane, New Canaan Hockey. Deane finished with three goals and an assist in a pair of wins.
Paul Fabbri, St. Joseph Basketball. Fabbri scored 30 points in a win over Danbury.
Nick Malchow, Greenwich Swimming. Malchow had two individual wins and was part of a winning relay in a victory against Fairfield Prep.
Bennett McDermott, Darien Hockey. McDermott finished with a hat trick, including the game-winning goal in overtime, for a 5-4 win over Westhill-Stamford.
Luke McGarrity, Ridgefield Basketball. McGarrity scored 11 of his 20 points in a win over Brien McMahon.
Malcolm Newman, Trinity Catholic Basketball. In his debut for Trinity, Newman scored 25 points in a win over Westhill.
Here are the female finalists:
Cassi Barbato, Trumbull Basketball. Barbato scored 22 points in a win over Stamford.
Jane Charlton, New Canaan Basketball. Charlton scored 15 points in a win over Trumbull.
Arianna Gerig, Staples Basketball. Gerig scored 24 points back to back in wins over Fairfield Warde and Greenwich.
Emma Kelly, Greenwich Gymnastics. Kelly won the all-around in a meet against Trumbull.
Cali Stietzel, Ridgefield Basketball. Stietzel scored 15 points in a win over Trinity Catholic.
Schuyler Tomey, St. Joseph Gymnastics. Tomey won two events and the all-around in a win over Darien.
