We have seven male and seven female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes. Each won titles at the FCIAC Track championships.
The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will receive our Player of the Week T-shirts.
Here are the male finalists:
Simon Alexander, Wilton. Alexander won the 55 meter hurdles.
Andrew Charkales, New Canaan. Charkales won the pole vault.
Simon Jupp, Ridgefield. Jupp won the 300 and 600 meters.
Connor McGeehan, Staples. McGeehan won the long jump.
Korey Morton, Brien McMahon. Morton won the 55 meters.
Jack Reynolds, Fairfield Ludlowe. Reynolds won the high jump.
Ja’Den Williams, Norwalk. Williams won the shot put.
Here are the female finalists:
Nia Christie, St. Joseph. Christie won the high jump.
Shelby Dejana, Wilton. Dejana won the 55 meters.
Daniela Grullon-Pena, Danbury. Grullon-Pena won the 1,000.
Kali Holden, Trumbull. Holden won the 3,200.
Emma Langis, Ridgefield. Langis won the 600.
Mari Noble, Greenwich. Noble won the 1,600.
Tess Stapleton, Fairfield Ludlowe. Stapleton set meet records in the 55 meter hurdles and the long jump.
