Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have five male and five female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our new performance T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Matt Aracena, Danbury Soccer. Aracena scored in the 62nd minute to give the Hatters a 1-0 win over Norwalk.

Billy Branca Darien Soccer. Branca scored three goals in a pair of wins.

Charles Namiot, Ridgefield Cross Country. Namiot took first place in a win over Staples.

Simon Osorio, Brien McMahon Soccer. Oserio had the assist on a late goal in a tie with Norwalk and a goal and an assist in a win over Ridgefield.

Arhav Soi, Wilton Soccer. Soi led a strong defensive effort as the Warriors won two more games by shutout.


Here are the female finalists:

Kylie BellWilton Volleyball. Bell finished with 25 assists in a win over Staples.

Aerin Bowman, Darien Volleyball. Bowman finished with 17 kills, 6 blocks, 5 service points and four aces in a win over New Canaan.

Julia Carrozza, Ridgefield Field Hockey. Carrozza scored the winning goal for a 1-0 win over Wilton.

Addie Leder, Greenwich Volleyball. Leder finished with 28 assists and six service points in a win over Westhill.

Meg McCarthy, Trumbull Field Hockey. McCarthy had her second and third shutouts of the season in a pair of wins.
