Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have six male and five female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Jake Hugh-Jones, Greenwich Soccer. Hugh-Jones scored twice in a 3-1 win over Darien.

Fisher Mills, Ridgefield Soccer. Mills scored four goals in a 2-0-1 week, including the deciding one in a 1-0 win over unbeaten Norwalk.

Jake Pacacha, St. Joseph Soccer. Pacacha scored four goals in three games.

Taylor Pinkernell & Marc DeGaetano, New Canaan Golf. Pinkernell and DeGaetano won the Chappa Tournament with a combined score of 61.

Reese Watkins, Staples Soccer. Watkins scored five goals in two games, including both in a 2-1 win over Fairfield Warde.

Michael Widmer, Brien McMahon Golf. Widmer won the John Connolly trophy for medalist by shooting a season-best 41 against Norwalk.


Here are the female finalists:

Lauren DeLaurentis, Fairfield Ludlowe Soccer. DeLaurentis finished with three goals and four assists in two games.

Shawna Ferraro, New Canaan Field Hockey. Ferraro scored twice in a 5-0 win over Cheshire.

Lily Mattison, St. Joseph Volleyball. Mattison finished with 18 kills and 14 aces in a pair of wins.

Molly McGuckin, Darien Field Hockey. McGuckin had two goals and an assist in a win over Guilford.

Liana Sarkissian, Greenwich Volleyball. Sarkissian finished with 19 kills, 10 service points, three aces and two blocks in a win over Fairfield Warde.
