Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have six male and six female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Chason Barber, Greenwich Basketball. Barber finished with 20 points and 16 rebounds in a 58-46 win over Brien McMahon.

Jack Clancy, Ridgefield Swimming. Clancy won 200 and 400 free in a loss to Greenwich.

Brendan Gilchrist, Norwalk Wrestling. Gilchrist won the 195-pound titles at meets in Simsbury and Lowell (MA).

Kevin Hyzy, Wilton Basketball. Hyzy scored 19 points in a 50-44 win over Fairfield Warde.

Michael Rayher, New Canaan Hockey. Rayher finished with three goals and three assists in a 7-1 win over Greenwich.

Jeyson Slade, Westhill Basketball. Slade finished with 29 points, eight assists and six rebounds in a win over Trumbull and 28 points, eight assists and seven rebounds in a win against Bassick.

Here are the female finalists:

Sydelle Bernstein, Staples Basketball. Bernstein scored 17 points in a game against Fairfield Ludlowe.

Izzy Casucci, St. Joseph Basketball. Casucci finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds, three blocks and three steals in a 60-36 win over Norwalk.

Grace Crowell, New Canaan Hockey. Crowell scored twice in a 5-1 win over defending Rhode Island champion LaSalle Academy.

Chloe Perrault, Danbury Basketball. Perrault scored 24 points in a 62-30 win over New Canaan.

Kristin Riggs, Greenwich Basketball. Riggs scored a game-high 19 points to lead Greenwich to a 40-34 win over New Canaan.

Kaya Weiskopf, Ridgefield Basketball. Weiskopf scored half of her team-high 16 points in a span of 1:23 in the fourth quarter to lead Ridgefield to a 62-50 win over Stamford.
