Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have five male and five female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Jackson Ciccone, Danbury Baseball. Ciccone had three hits, including two triples, and three RBIs for Danbury in an 11-3 win over Brien McMahon

Doster Crowell, New Canaan Lacrosse. Crowell finished with three goals and three assists in a 15-5 win over St. Joseph.

Matthew Cummings, Trumbull Baseball. Cummings pitched 6 2/3 innings of one-hit ball with 11 strikeouts for Trumbull in a 6-1 win over Stamford.

Colin Lenskold, Wilton Boys Lacrosse. Lenskold stopped nine shots in goal in a 6-4 win over New Canaan.

Quinn Warwick, Greenwich Lacrosse. Warwick won 25 of 30 draw controls and finished with four goals and an assist in two wins.

Here are the female finalists:

Emma Abbazia, Greenwich Lacrosse. Abbazia finished with 10 goals, 22 draw controls and nine groundballs in two games.

Niamh Dougherty, St. Joseph Softball. Niamh Dougherty went 4 for 4 with a double, two triples, four RBIs and four runs in a 10-0 win over Westhill.

Jolie Osborne, Danbury Lacrosse. Osborne scored eight goals in an 18-9 win over Watertown — the Hatters’ first in five years.

Kaleigh Harden, New Canaan Lacrosse. Harden finished with five goals in a 16-6 win over Ridgefield.

Madison Sweeney, Stamford Lacrosse. Sweeney, a sophomore, scored her 100th career point and finished with 10 goals and three assists in three wins.
