Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have six male and five female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

David Carillo, Trumbull Cross Country. Carillo took first place by 25 seconds in a meet with Fairfield Ludlowe, Ridgefield and Norwalk.

Tyler Clark, Staples Football. Clark had six catches for 222 yards and scores of 78 and 70 yards, the latter giving the Wreckers a 36-29 win over Trumbull.

Ryan DeMarco, St. Joseph Football. DeMarco led the defense with a pair of sacks and five tackles in a 24-7 win over Danbury.

Aaron Field, Fairfield Ludlowe Football. Field carried the ball 27 times for 160 yards, five catches for 75 yards, 88 return yards and four scores in a 34-20 win over Norwalk.

Dovens Noger, Bridgeport Central Soccer. Noget stood out in goal for the Hilltoppers in a pair of losses.

Jake Wilson, Darien Football. Wilson rushed for 188 yards on 28 carries and three scores in a 55-14 win over Fairfield Warde.

Here are the female finalists:

Charlotte Casiraghi, Wilton Field Hockey. Casiraghi scored three goals in a 4-1 win over Trumbull.

Caroline Dickson, Danbury Soccer. Dickson scored a hat trick in a 4-0 win over Norwalk.

Kaelyn Fogelson, Norwalk Field Hockey. Fogelson finished with two goals and an assist in a 3-1 win over Trumbull.

Raina Johns, Darien Field Hockey. Johns led a strong defensive effort in a 3-0 win over Staples.

Eliana Savelli, New Canaan Cross Country. Savelli, a freshman, took first place in a meet against Wilton and Stamford.
