We have seven teams on the menu for the Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Team of the Week vote.
Your finalists are: the Danbury Boys Basketball, Ridgefield Girls Basketball, Westhill-Stamford Boys Hockey, Darien Girls Hockey, Fairfield Warde Gymnastics, Greenwich Boys Swimming and Fairfield Ludlowe Wrestling teams.
This year we have a new prize: the winning team from the winter that gets the most votes will receive a team pizza party at Colony Grill, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank. The Trumbull wrestling team is the current leader with 1,382 votes.
The Hatters defeated unbeaten Staples and Brien McMahon.
The Tigers swept Trumbull and Norwalk.
Westhill-Stamford defeated East Haven Co-Op and St. Joseph.
The Blue Wave defeated Avon and Stamford/Westhill/Staples.
The Mustangs scored a season-high 141.0 points in a win over Darien.
The Cardinals handed unbeaten Ridgefield its first loss.
The Falcons swept New Fairfield Westhill, Plainfield and Conard.
