We have nine teams on the menu for the Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Team of the Week vote.
Your finalists are: the Ridgefield Boys Basketball, Fairfield Ludlowe Girls Basketball, Wilton Boys Hockey, Fairfield Warde Boys Track, Darien Girls Track, Staples Boys Track, New Canaan Wrestling Team, Wilton/Norwalk/McMahon Girls Hockey and Greenwich Girls Track teams.
This year we have a new prize: the winning team from the winter that gets the most votes will receive a team pizza party at Colony Grill, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank. The Trumbull wrestling team is the current leader with 1,382 votes.
The Tigers defeated New Canaan and handed Danbury its first loss.
The Falcons remained unbeaten with wins over Trumbull and Staples
The Warriors ran their win streak to four by defeating Norwalk/McMahon and Staples.
The Mustangs won the FCIAC Eastern Division title.
The Rams defeated Greenwich and Stamford/Westhill/Staples.
The Blue Wave won the FCIAC Eastern Division title for the first time since 2015.
The Tigers defeated Staples.
The Wreckers won the FCIAC Western Division title.
The Rams won the Brookfield Invitational.
Wilton/Norwalk/McMahon defeated Greenwich and tied Stamford/Westhill/Staples.
The Cardinals won the FCIAC Western Division title.
