We have seven teams on the menu for the Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Team of the Week vote.
Your finalists are: the Fairfield Warde Boys Basketball; Darien Boys Basketball; Greenwich Boys Track; Staples Gymnastics; Norwalk Girls Basketball; Wilton Gymnastics and the Danbury Cheerleading teams.
This year we have a new prize: the winning team from the winter that gets the most votes will receive a team pizza party at Colony Grill, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank. The Trumbull wrestling team is the current leader with 1,382 votes.
The Mustangs defeated Danbury and Trumbull.
The Blue Wave swept Bridgeport Central and Wilton.
The Cardinals won the FCIAC championship for the first time since the 1970s.
The Wreckers scored a season high 138.25 in a win over Wilton.
The Mustangs defeated St. Joseph, Fitch and Trumbull.
The Bears defeated Westhill and New Canaan.
The Warriors averaged a score of 137.05 while going 2-1 in three meets.
The Hatters won the FCIAC title for the sixth straight time.
