We have eight teams on the menu for the Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Team of the Week vote.
Your finalists are: the Trumbull Wrestling, Stamford Boys Basketball, Darien Boys Hockey, New Canaan Boys Swimming, Fairfield Warde Girls Basketball, Fairfield Ludlowe Girls Basketball, St. Joseph Girls Basketball and Wilton Gymnastics teams.
This year we have a new prize: the winning team from the winter that gets the most votes will receive a team pizza party at Colony Grill, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank. The Fairfield Warde wrestling team is the current leader with 1,892 votes.
The Eagles won the Class LL championship for the first time.
The Black Knights swept Trumbull in triple overtime and Darien by a combined four points.
The Blue Wave defeated Ridgefield and St. Joseph to win the regular-season title.
The Rams defeated Staples, 97-83.
The Mustangs defeated New Canaan in the FCIAC quarterfinals.
The Falcons defeated Greenwich in the FCIAC quarterfinals.
The Cadets defeated Danbury in the FCIAC quarterfinals.
The Warriors scored a 138.7 in a win over New Milford and Brookfield
