Your finalists are: the Fairfield Warde Boys Tennis, Norwalk Softball, Wilton Girls Lacrosse, Darien Boys Lacrosse, Ridgefield Boys Volleyball, Staples Girls Tennis, New Canaan Girls Golf and Fairfield Ludlowe Softball teams.
This year we have a new prize: the winning spring team that gets the most votes will receive a team pizza party at Colony Grill, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank. The Darien boys tennis team is the current leader with 1,407 votes.
The Mustangs defeated Staples for the first time and Westhill.
The Bears scored 49 runs in wins over Bridgeport Central, Westhill and St. Joseph.
The Warriors toppled St. Joseph and Ridgefield.
The Blue Wave defeated Yorktown and rival New Canaan.
The Tigers defeated St. Joseph, Fairfield Warde and Staples.
The Wreckers swept Darien, Fairfield Warde and Trumbull.
The Rams defeated Staples, Danbury and Wilton.
The Falcons swept Trumbull, St. Joseph and Brien McMahon, winning twice in their final at bat.
