We have eight teams on the menu for the Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Team of the Week vote.
Your finalists are: the Westhill baseball, Norwalk softball, Greenwich girls lacrosse, Ridgefield boys volleyball, Darien girls tennis, Wilton boys lacrosse, New Canaan girls tennis and Trumbull baseball teams.
This year we have a new prize: the winning spring team that gets the most votes will receive a team pizza party at Colony Grill, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank. The Staples girls tennis team is the current leader with 1,477 votes.
The eighth-seeded Vikings reached the FCIAC semifinals.
The seventh-seeded Bears reached the FCIAC semifinals.
The Cardinals rallied late to edge Ridgefield and reach the FCIAC semifinals.
The sixth-seeded Tigers reached the FCIAC semifinals.
The fifth-seeded Blue Wave reached the FCIAC final.
The Warriors held off Ridgefield to reach the FCIAC semifinals.
The Rams reached the FCIAC championship.
The fifth-seeded Eagles edged Danbury to reach the FCIAC semifinals.
The Wreckers swept Norwalk, Brien McMahon and Fairfield Ludlowe.
