The winning team that gets the most votes this winter will receive a team pizza party, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank. The New Canaan softball team currently leads with 1,383 votes.
The Hatters avenged a 15-5 loss to Westhill with a 12-9 win, their second of the year.
The Blue Wave defeated undefeated rival New Canaan to finish the regular season unbeaten.
The fifth-seeded Cardinals defeated No. 4 Ridgefield in the FCIAC quarterfinals.
The fifth-seeded Rams defeated No. 4 Danbury in the FCIAC quarterfinals.
The eighth-seeded Bears upset No. 1 St. Joseph in the FCIAC quarterfinals.
The Black Knights won the city title with a win over Westhill.
The seventh-seeded Wreckers defeated No. 2 Greenwich in the FCIAC quarterfinals.
