We have eight teams on the menu for the Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Team of the Week vote.
Your finalists are: the Greenwich Girls Soccer, New Canaan Boys Soccer, Ridgefield Boys Soccer, Darien Swimming, Fairfield Ludlowe Volleyball, Wilton Volleyball, Staples Golf and Danbury Girls Cross Country teams.
This year we have a new prize: the winning team from the fall that gets the most votes will receive a team pizza party at Colony Grill, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank. Norwalk girls soccer is the leader so far with 1,836 votes.
The Cardinals defeated unbeaten Ridgefield, 1-0.
The Rams defeated Danbury and Bridgeport Central.
The Tigers defeated Wilton and Greenwich by 3-2 scores.
The Blue Wave defeated Wilton to remain unbeaten.
The Falcons defeated Trumbull in five sets and swept St. Joseph.
The Warriors defeated Staples and Stamford.
The Wreckers defeated Ridgefield.
The Hatters defeated Ridgefield, Stamford and Brien McMahon.
