We have 10 male and seven female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.
The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will receive our Player of the Week T-shirts.
Here are the male finalists:
Reynell Burke, Westhill Track. Burke won the javelin at the FCIAC championships.
Liam Byrne, Ridgefield Track. Byrne won the discus at the FCIAC championships.
Andrew Calabrese, Wilton Lacrosse. Calabrese had a big game in goal to help lead the Warriors to an FCIAC semifinal upset win over Darien.
James Damico, Staples Baseball. Damico drove in the winning run in the bottom of the 7th to lift the Wreckers to the FCIAC championship.
Justin Forde, McMahon Track. Forde set the league mark in the long jump, won the triple jump and was second in the high jump at the FCIAC championships.
Alex Gu, Darien Golf. Gu shot a 30 to help the Blue Wave win the Chappa Memorial.
Jackson Hemphill, Ludlowe Track. Hemphill won the pole vault at the FCIAC championships.
Austin Hutchens, Warde Track. Hutchens won the 1,600 at the FCIAC championships.
Carl Mazabras, New Canaan Lacrosse. Mazabras stopped 15 shots and was named MVP in the Rams’ FCIAC championship win.
Ryan Raybuck, Greenwich Track. Raybuck won both the 100 and 200 at the FCIAC championships.
Here are the female finalists:
Payton Dorion, St. Joseph Softball. Doiron threw a no-hitter to lead the Cadets to the FCIAC championship.
Shea Dolce, Darien Lacrosse. Dolce stopped eight shots and was named MVP as the Blue Wave won the FCIAC title.
Alanna Smith, Danbury Track. Smith won the 100, 200 and 400 at the FCIAC championships.
Caitlyn Filloramo, Ludlowe Track. Filloramo won the discus at the FCIAC championships.
Savannah Bromley, McMahon Track. Bromley won the high jump at the FCIAC championships.
Alex Misiewicz, Trumbull Track. Misiewicz won the pole vault at the FCIAC championships.
Tess Pisanelli, Ridgefield Track. Pisanelli won the 3,200 at the FCIAC championships.
