We have six finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week vote.
The vote will run until noon on Thursday. The winner will get our new performance T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.
Here are the finalists:
Layla Bloomingdale, Staples Volleyball. Bloomingdale finished with 12 kills in the Wreckers’ straight-set win over Ridgefield for the Central Region title.
Meghan Lynch, Greenwich Swimming & Diving. Lynch set two state and three FCIAC marks in helping lead the Cardinals to the West Region title.
James Radman, Fairfield Ludlowe Boys Soccer. Radman scored the deciding goal in a 1-0 win over Fairfield Prep for the East Region Title.
Abby Van Dussen, New Canaan Girls Soccer. Van Dussen led a strong defensive effort in the Rams’ 2-1 win over Darien for the Central Region title.
Lisa van Gompel, Ridgefield Field Hockey. van Gompel stopped 11 shots to lead the Tigers to a 2-1 win over Staples for the Central Region championship.
Lauren Walsh, Trumbull Swimming & Diving. Walsh had two individual wins and was part of two winning relays in helping lead the Eagles to the East Region title.
