After what likely was the most unusual season in FCIAC history, lets hold one more vote, for the Fall Team of the Year.

The winning team will get special edition Ruden Report T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank. 

We have 12 finalists. Like the season this list is very imperfect. To be a finalist you had to win a region title, which discounted some deserving candidates that due to quarantine did not get to participate in a final.

We also like to keep this to one team per school so multiple teams don’t split the vote and have a fairer chance to win, but with three champions in each sport instead of one we are allowing for a maximum of three teams per school. Where we could we took into account strength of schedule and also got coach recommendations.

Your finalists are: the Trumbull volleyball, Wilton boys soccer, Fairfield Ludlowe boys soccer, Brien McMahon boys soccer, Ridgefield field hockey, New Canaan girls soccer, Greenwich volleyball, Greenwich girls swimming & diving, Greenwich boys soccer, Ridgefield boys cross country, Staples volleyball and Trumbull field hockey teams.

The voting is open until noon on Tuesday. So vote below and check back to find out who is the Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Fall Team of the Year.
