Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have four male and six female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Owen Bull, Trumbull Soccer. Bull finished with a hat trick in a 7-0 win over town rival St. Joseph and assisted on the winning goal in a 2-1 decision over Stamford.

Steven Hergenrother, Ridgefield Cross Country. Hergenrother finished eighth at the Great American XC Festival in North Carolina.

Avery Mueller, Staples Soccer. Mueller finished with two goals and an assist in a 3-0 win over Fairfield Warde.

Luke Robinson, New Canaan Football. Robinson threw for four touchdowns and ran for another in a 45-7 win over St Joseph.


Here are the female finalists:

Charlotte Bello, Stamford Soccer. Bello scored three second-half goals to help the Black Knights overcome a 1-0 deficit and defeat city rival Westhill.

Evelyn Chudowsky, Staples Girls Soccer. Chudowsky finished with three goals and an assist in a pair of wins.

Hope Hapgood, Darien Field Hockey. Hapgood scored both goals in a 2-1 win over Wilton.

Erin Lovett, St. Joseph Volleyball. During a 3-1 week, Lovett finished with 49 kills and 19 blocks for the Cadets.

Izzy Schuh, New Canaan Field Hockey. Schuh finished with five goals and three assists in an unbeaten week.

Caroline Spengler, Fairfield Ludlowe Soccer. Spengler finished with two goals and an assist in a 3-1 win over unbeaten Ridgefield.
