Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have six male and six female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Lorenzo Caratozzolo, Wilton Wrestling. Caratozollo won by a 10-2 decision against Fairfield Ludlowe and won the Brookfield Invitational by going 4-0 with four pins.

Doster Crowell, New Canaan Hockey. Crowell finished with five goals and four assists in a pair of wins.

Neil Roarty, St. Joseph Hockey. Roarty stopped 50 shots in goal in a 4-1 loss to Darien.

Andrew Sharron, Darien Track. Sharron won the 1,600 and 3,200 at the FCIAC East Division Championships.

Ryan Tymon, Fairfield Hockey. Tymon finished with four goals and two assists in three games.

Alister Walsh, Ridgefield Basketball. Walsh finished with 21 points, five rebounds and five assists in a win over Fairfield Warde and 19 points and 10 assists in a win over Stamford.


Here are the female finalists:

Zoe Desmarais, Ridgefield Basketball. Desmarais finished with 11 points and 12 rebounds in an overtime win over Fairfield Warde.

Ruby Hill, Danbury Gymnastics. Hill won the all-around with a 35.85 for her Co-Op team.

Claire Ognibene, New Canaan Basketball. Ognibene scored 19 points in a 36-29 win over Wilton.

Layla Roberts, Norwalk Track. Roberts won the high jump and long jump at the Western Division Championships.

Sarah VonDohlen, Staples Basketball. VonDohlen averaged 26 points in a pair of wins.

Jasmine Whitfield, Stamford Wrestling. Whitfield won the 120-pound title at the Queen Of The Mat Championships.
