Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have six male and seven female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will receive our Player of the Week T-shirts.

Here are the male finalists:

Masai Castillero, Brien McMahon Soccer. Castillero scored two goals each in games against Norwalk and Westhill.

Davis Cote, Wilton Cross Country. Cote earned acclaim when he turned around near the finish line at the FCIAC championships to help a fallen Danbury runner finish the race.

Morgan Fierro, Staples Cross Country. Fierro finished first at the FCIAC championships.

Peter Graham, Darien Football. Peter Graham completed 18 of 20 passes for 265 yards and three touchdowns in a 51-20 win over Trinity Catholic.

Alex Hanna, Ridgefield Football. Hanna had a red zone interception and a number of pass defenses in a 21-0 win over Wilton.

John Wise, New Canaan Football. Wise rushed for four touchdowns in a 28-7 win over Fairfield Warde.

Here are the female finalists:

Laine Ambrose, Staples Field Hockey. Ambrose scored four goals in two wins for the Wreckers.

Aerin Bowman, Darien Volleyball. Bowman finished with 16 kills, three blocks and four digs as the Blue Wave handed Fairfield Ludlowe its first loss.

Cate Irving, Ridgefield Field Hockey. Irving scored both goals in a 2-0 win over Fairfield Ludlowe.

Ashleigh Johnson, Trumbull Volleyball. Johnson had 26 digs in a 3-2 win over Fairfield Warde.

Mari Noble, Greenwich Cross Country. Noble won the FCIAC championship by 30 seconds with the sixth fastest time in league history.

Polly Parsons-Hills, New Canaan Field Hockey. Parsons-Hills finished with a goal and an assist in a 3-2 win over rival Darien.

Jackie Souderlund, Fairfield Ludlowe Volleyball. Souderlund finished with 15 kills and four blocks in a 3-1 win over St. Joseph.
